Every sofa we build has a genuine solid-wood frame — kiln-dried sheesham (Indian rosewood), mango or acacia — not a plywood or particle-board carcass. We joint and corner-block the frame for the loads a sofa carries, then add the seating surface: cane or rattan weave, full upholstery over foam and webbing, or a leather-wrapped chesterfield shell. We do not position as a plywood or panel supplier; the wood frame is the product and the reason the piece lasts.

A sample or trial sofa can ship LCL (part-container) so you can approve the frame, foam density, fabric and finish before committing. For best wholesale pricing thereafter, one 20ft full container load (FCL) is our standard minimum, and we consolidate sofas with armchairs, benches, coffee tables and décor into a single mixed container so you fill the box with a full living-room assortment from one invoice.

Yes. We are both ODM — supplying our own ready catalogue frames — and OEM, manufacturing to your drawings, seat dimensions, arm profile, foam spec, COM/COL fabric and private-label requirements. That includes custom CNC-carved show-wood, bespoke chesterfield buttoning, your choice of leg and finish, and branded or retail-ready packaging.

Our wooden-frame sofas are engineered as knockdown / flat-pack (RTA) with bolt-on legs, detachable arms and separate seat and back cushions, which collapses the cubic volume, raises the number of units per container and cuts transit damage. Fully assembled builds are available where a buyer prefers them.

We document FSC chain-of-custody and Vriksh timber-legality on the wood frames, with CITES-compliant handling of sheesham (finished Dalbergia furniture is exempt post-CoP19 2022, and we still supply the legality file). ISO, SGS and SEDEX/SMETA sit behind the build, we are EUDR-ready with geolocation and deforestation-free due diligence, and we support US Lacey Act declarations, UK Timber Regulation, and CARB / TSCA Title VI formaldehyde-compliant finishes and foams.

The frame timber is chemically treated, run through our automated seasoning plants and kiln-dried over multiple days to an export moisture level before a single joint is cut. That is why a Jodhpur solid-wood frame stays stable when it crosses into a dry Western winter or a centrally heated room — the movement and splitting that ruins green-timber furniture is engineered out before the sofa leaves Boranada.
